You could set this in the Thrustmaster Control Panel, but if you play a variety of games, it gets annoying having to change it every time you want to play a different game. They typically have a maximum 360° rotation, meaning you can turn the wheel 180° to the left and 180° to the right. The default steering angle in this game uses the full rotation of your wheel which is way too much for an F1 car. It doesn't feel like much has changed in the force feedback system, which is fine, since it works very well. These settings are basically the same as the ones I used for F1 2019. Lowering the strength of the big forces allows the wheel to still give important information about the track when you are in a high speed corner, for instance. In a simulated game, however, all we have is the wheel itself, so we have to make concessions to realism to get more information to the player. Much of this information would be felt through g-forces and the shaking of the car itself in real life. However, please consider adding that as well, since it can help you greatly to have an idea of what the car is doing, whether it is losing grip or not, and similar things. In an ideal world, you can also set up Vibration & Force Feedback settings as well, but I’m sure that there are a lot which play without vibrations and stuff like that. It will take some time getting used to though. This is basically a wheel setting, but lowering it to 270 will take the edge off a lot, for your steering with a controller. After that, go to Vibration & Force Feedback.Again, it will give you simply more control for applying low amount of throttle or brake. Do the same test, and add some points if braking doesn’t return to zero. If it doesn’t add some points to throttle deazone until it does. It works in the same way as steering, so you want to open the test, click on the throttle keybind, and make sure it returns to zero. It will give you much greater feel and control of the car. This is an initial steering input setting, and I would recommend setting it to 50. Try to flick your stick and see whether it hits a 100, if it doesn’t, you’ll need to add some points to Steering Saturation as well. For this setting, open the test menu again. Do this until your steering returns to zero. See if the steering returns to zero, if it doesn’t add one point to steering deadzone an try again. For the steering deadzone, open the testing button, and gently flick your stick. Set these to the unbound look around key binds. Then, go down to brake bias increase/decrease, and differential increase/decrease. However, one thing you can do is unbind all look around buttons. The default may be enough for some players. After the current button layout is presented to you, you can start making some changes. Go back after that, and go to edit a profile.For the Overtake ERS Mode, set it to toggle or hold depending on whether you want to hold or click your button when using the battery.
